I bought my first pair of these boots in October 2005 and only replaced them with another pair today (March 2007). In the past has about 1,700 miles on them and are a little worn. My job is to run almost all day and sometimes shipyard people across the country. These boots are lightweight, comfortable out of the box, and waterproof. I am also a backpacker and would recommend them to all but the most difficult rising.
